Sivunivut Inuit Community Corporation is currently seeking the services of one (1) Fisherperson to fill 105 salmon tags.
Beneficiaries are asked to submit a letter of interest, indicating all costs to supply our Community Freezer with 105 salmon. Costs should include transportation, fuel costs, required equipment, and labour costs, with salmon gutted and cleaned.
A portion of the salmon tags must be filled in land claims area.
Please note: Sivunivut Inuit Community Corporation will not assume responsibility for damage or costs related to the wear and tear to fisherperson's equipment or supplies.
Deadline for letters of interest: 30 June 2017 at 4:00 pm.

The next Sivunivut Inuit Community Corporation board meeting will take place June 20th at 7 pm, in the council chambers room at the North West River town building.

Sivunivut is considering a fish net mending course to take place in June. If you're interested in participating in this course, please email derek.montague@nunatsiavut.com. We are also looking for qualified people who may be interested in being an instructor.

Inuktitut classes, being taught by Sarah Townley, will resume on Tuesday, May 16, at 7 pm at the Town office building. We expect the classes to take place once a week, every Tuesday for the time being.
